Legal Watch-South Carolina College Agrees To Settle Federal Title IX Lawsuit Over Handling Of Sexual Assault Report
Erskine College, a small private institution in the South Carolina upstate, recently agreed to settle a federal Title IX lawsuit over their handling of a sexual assault report in 2002. The agreement follows a federal District Court Judge's ruling last month that whether or not they violated the victim's Title IX rights was a question for a jury to decide.
The text of the Judge's order is available in the "Lawyers" section of the SOC web site- |
