Dept. Of Justice Web Forum To Answer Campus Victim Assistance QuestionsOn July 27, 2006, at 2 p.m. (eastern time), the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) will present a Web Forum discussion with S. Daniel Carter on campus victimization and assistance services. Carter is the Senior Vice President of Security On Campus, Inc. (SOC), a national nonprofit organization devoted to assisting the victims of violence on college campuses and to improving campus security. Carter has been working to improve victims’ rights and campus safety for more than 15 years. He has worked on every amendment to the Clery Act since 1992including the Campus Sexual Assault Victims’ Bill of Rightsand currently serves as SOC’s lead crime victim advocate.
